Vinita Nair

Nair joined ABC News in July 2004, and has since covered many subjects, including investigations like the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings near Bailey, Colorado. Nair was commissioned as a reporter for ABC News in December 2007 as an anchor and correspondent for ABC News Now. As part of her role as a reporter, she provided live reporting and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair was a co-anchor for World News Now and America This Morning on ABC from September 17, 2008 up to February 18, 2011. In both of the shows she first teamed up alongside Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair announced to the viewers of World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th February 2011. Nair also announced that Friday would be one final day of work for ABC News. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her direct successor. World News Now, February 18th was a tribute to Nair. Former and current colleagues also appeared in the segments. On her last day, Nair treated her crew to breakfast that was delicious. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
