Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actor in film as well as stage since the late 1970s. From the age 27 she has been professional active as a thespian. In 1990, she performed her stage debut in an Off Broadway production of The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley. Her next role was her first television role, The Perfect Tribute. In 1992 her career was launched when she was cast for a part in Basic Instinct. Then, in The Firm, she played the leading female character for the first time.
